Macromedia just announced they're making it a bit easier (and a whole
lot cheaper) to start using Flex for your non-commercial or personal
sites:

If you want to use Flex for non-commercial or non-institutional sites
(read the "user scenarios" to get a more clear idea of what this
means), it's only going to cost you $8.99 to get the CDs shipped to
you.  That includes a license for both Flex and Flex Builder, the IDE
for Flex (it's basically Dreamweaver for Flex).  If you're looking to
get into RIA development Flex is a great tool to check out as we saw
from Clint's presentation last month.
