This is all running on a single server, Quad P4, Windows 2003. Everything is current, and all 14 sites are on the same server.

Thanks, but that rules that out.

Have you looked for differences in patch levels on SQL Server, IIS, etc?

Subject: Session Variables Issue... need help

Has anyone encountered this issue before. I am running a server that is
hosting about 15 domains on it with CFMX 6.1 and MS SQL 2000. I have set
the Administrator to use the database for Client Variables (database is
CFVariables). 14 of the websites are working correctly and are having no
problems. One website is getting an error at the END of the Debug Code
AFTER the page is fully loaded stating that "Operation failed on the data
source named 'CFVariables'" "Reason of Failure "String or Binary data would

be truncated". When I created the database, I let the CF Admin create the
tables, so everything is standard.

I did notice that on one site, the session ID set by CF is that name of the
"session+cfid+cftoken", and just happens to be "ABC_XXXXXX_XXXXXXX". But
the site that is having problems is also the same configuration, but the
CFToken is a GUID. Where is this getting set or do I have any control over
it.

I tried to up the length of the database columns, but that did not work, I
restarted the CF services and also rebooted the box. Nothing is fixing the
error.

Has any one encountered this?

Thanks,
