I can post my presentation and anyone can always feel free to ping me off-list.

So one last call... any specific topics that anyone wants to make sure gets covered on the blogging side?

Somebody take good notes… I really wanted to be there for this one, but 6.30 just doesn’t work.

*Subject:* [ANNOUNCE] Meeting Details...

The NOVEMBER meeting will be held tomorrow November 9^th at 6:30pm… you will not want to miss this update on the latest and greatest coming from Macromedia…

Here are the meeting details:

*MAX ROUNDUP*

Fresh from the Macromedia MAX Conference in New Orleans, our own Clint Tredway and Jake McKee will be giving us an overview of what they saw, heard, and learned at MAX. Lots of cool announcements are typically made at MAX, so if you couldn't make it this year, this is a great way to find out what you missed. With the imminent release of Blackstone

(CF7) and the recent release of Flex 1.5 there will be plenty to talk about! (Note to the presenters: Don't break those NDAs!)

*BLOGFUSION: AN INTRODUCTION TO COLDFUSION BLOGGING*

Attendees will be introduce to the "blogosphere", that thing that is blogging. You'll learn all about blogging and why it's important, the current state of the tools, and how you can start blogging yourself or get your clients doing it. Presenter Jake McKee will go into detail on BlogFusion, one of the more feature packed ColdFusion based blogging applications and how you can use BlogFusion or your own homebrewed CF blogging application to get started as a blogger.

Bring your questions!

Jake McKee has been developing Web sites for more than 10 years, and has a range of sites and projects under his belt. He is currently the Global Community Development Manager for the LEGO Company, responsible for developing and supporting the LEGO Company's relationship with the adult LEGO hobbyists. Because he simply can't get enough of all that community stuff, he develops the BlogFusion (www.countersinkdg.com) application - a ColdFusion blogging application. He has several blogs that he runs, including www.communityguy.com. Jake is a publish author with his own book about LEGO Trains, articles on Builder.com and other tech sites, and several articles in the Wireless Developer's Journal.
