I've been thinking about buying some space in Keller on the verizon fios (fiber to the curb) service line and starting a small not-for-profit facility. With 5mb down / 2mb up for only $39.95 /month - just have each customer buy their own line(s). They'll be offering business service within the next few months (allegedly).

A buddy of mine just moved off of them... they shut down his account three times with "abuse" as the reason. That one word explanation was he could get out of them, and they never notified him of any problems. He was also having regular (but not frequent) outages to the facility itself without notification.
All in all, I'd say look elsewhere. I've heard good things about The Planet lately.
