I don't think this went through. If it did and this is a second copy, my
apologies. Otherwise, please see below...immediate help needed.

Subject: ColdFusion MX Server 6.1

OK, I am totally baffled. I have got the development server running in a
Windows 2000 server environment. I can open the CF Administrator and can
validate my data source fine. However, when I try to run a test web page,
it says it can't connect to the server.

All data sources, CF Development server, Win 2000 server, CF Admin, and test
web pages are currently all local to my laptop and the CF server is
installed in the server that came with CFMX 6.1 (not IIS or Apache). When I
try to run a test page to do nothing more that display data extracted from
my test data table, it only renders pure HTML, no CF data.

Currently, I am only trying to test against an MS Access database for setup
verification. However, the system will need to connect to an Oracle 9i
database.

Has anyone got any ideas? (Please note: This is the first time I have tried
to configure from the server end. Please be gentle with me.)

I have not failed. I've found 10,000 ways that won't work.
