We are using it here at Dresser. We are Linux based using Apache. I just
started here a couple of weeks ago and am new to the clustering part of
ColdFusion. I know it's not working correctly and we have been in contact
with MM to solve the problem, but no luck yet.

I know I'm not much help now, but it's good to have a contact going down the
same path.

Thanks

Subject: cfmx clustering

We're looking to implement a clustering/load balancing solution and are
considering multiple options. (big ip, linux based, etc)

Anyone used the built-in clustering in cfmx enterprise? ups/downs? I'd
like to know its overall usability, as well as its ability to truly
handle sessions, passing from one server to another, as this seems to
often be a hold up for load balancing solutions. It specs out well on
the cf website, but as i've never installed or used jrun, & this
functionality seems to be inherent to that server more than cf exactly,
i thought i'd ask.

any insights you guys have would be appreciated.

thanks,
