Joe,

this posting is somewhat relative to the on going
tropic,

This is this austin,tx company www.scantexas.com
that once have some helpful tools, but they have have
been taken of?
Also, if you are interested in focusing your cf
talents in this RFID/barcode market, and
develop-menting cutting edge programs, their is this
upcoming RFID World Expo, March 1-3,05 at Gaylord
Texan Resort, in Grapevine. What is RFID technology
you ask?

Radio frequency identification (ID). RFID tags are
small integrated circuits connected to an antenna,
which can respond to an interrogating RF signal with
simple identifying information, or with more complex
signals depending on the size of the IC. Rolltronics'
technology can produce thin, small and durable RFIDs
in a cost-effective process.

The reason, why I included this posting, is that
several detail giants (kmart,walmart,sears) are
starting to convert their shipping and receiving
systems from barcode to RFID usages, this would in
essence force the other retail companies to adapt to
using this technology as well.

HINT, MAYBE SOME MEMBERS OF OUR COLDFUSION
COMMUNITY MIGHT WANT TO START DEVELOPING RFID
COLDFUSION PROGRAMS FOR THIS UPCOMING MERGING
TECHNOLOGY, JUST AS THEY ARE DOING FOR THE BLOGS
MOVEMENT, WILL JUST AN THROUGHT ANYWAY.
