Russell, I recommend that you have an attorney draw
up all of your contracts. It really doesn’t cost that much, but it can
save you much more in case of any dispute. I used to use a little contract
template that I bought for like 20 bucks. This worked fine as long as there was
no problem. But the first time I got into a situation where I was getting
stiffed, I saw what a mistake that I had made. The client’s attorney busted
my contract and I was left without my $12K – all because I didn’t
spend a couple hundred to get the contract written up professionally. Just remember that if someone wants to
bust your agreement, they’re going to have an attorney do it. So you need
to have your contract written to prevent this. --Ferg From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Of Russell Patterson Hello all, This is Off Topic, so I apologize in advance. Were or how do you all normally get your contracts and other
legal forms? Do you buy templates from some provider? Have a lawyer
that you use to generate or review the forms? I found a company that provides document templates for
IT firms. http://www.contractedge.com/
I was wondering what most other small businesses use. Thanks! Russell |
