CFXImage is a widely known and used tag that can do just about anything you want with am image, but it only runs on Windows Servers.

Yes but I am trying to find out if there is a way for Coldfusion to determine the size of the image....WxH?

Doesn't photoshop give you this info when you check on Image size?
