I hardly ever listen to any music. I listen to books. Right this minute I'm listening to ON WAR by Von Claussewitz. I have about 50 audio books and I'm always adding. I have all of Douglas Adams' stuff and I listen to those quite a lot, especially the BBC production of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as well as Last Chance to See and The Salmon of Doubt. I've also listened to the audio presentations of the entire Sherlock Holmes library by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and I like to break those out again every couple of months.
You wouldn't even believe how fast a day can go by listening to a book while you're working! I also listen to streams of NCAA Hockey games or NHL games from years past. --Ferg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jacob Cameron Sent: Friday, January 21, 2005 10:32 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Friday Topic: Music to Code By I switch between musicmatch for radio and winamp for mp3's. Winamp isn't a resource hog like musicmatch. On musicmatch I listen to alternative rock or classic rock. On MP3's I listen to: Prince, Steve Miller Band, Garbage, Lit, Floyd, Beatles, Tom Petty, Everclear and a whole lot of different artists in random order. I just got done hearing Johnny Cash, now it's Prince. I like variety. Seems to be working pretty well. Usually contry music here. However like Matt, if I'm in a bad mood I pop in the Rock or Rap. How are people listening to their tunes today? On their PC, CD player, MP3 player? I've my Dell Jukebox fired up right now. On Fri, 21 Jan 2005 08:14:48 -0800 (PST), Jordan Gouger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hmm... Interesting.
