Heh... Indeed.
I've actually been thinking about making BlogFusion open source... it's looking like I'm just not going to have the time to work on it much any more. We'll see. It's bringing in a few hundred dollars a month, which is nice, but since most of that goes to my Amazon wishlist anyway, I've wondered if a soliciting donations/wishlist purchases for the code instead might work out just as well.
Anyone have any experience with this?

They're leaving the CF stuff to us ... as for the PHP, I'm pretty sure this falls under the "we found a cool PHP app that did exactly what we want" category, HENCE THE NEED FOR MORE OPEN SOURCE CF APPS!!! ;-)

I also noticed that a MM group site is lacking CF content and is running PHP :) :)

Does anybody have a contact at the DFW MMUG? Their site is pretty much still in development and there's no specific time mentioned for the meeting and no contact link.
Thanks much.

Very cool. I'd go if I weren't on a plane at the time... damn it.
It's worth going just to check out the incredible Slingshot offices!

Just thought I'd let folks know that John Nicholas (who some of you may have met at our December meeting with Laszlo and Blue Dragon) is kick-starting the Dallas Macromedia Users Group: http://dallasmmug.com/home.html
They have a meeting coming up on Wednesday, Feburary 2 at the Slingshot office in Dallas. More info about the group is available on their web site. From what I understand they'll be focusing largely on non-CF-related topics so as not to overlap with our CFUG, but I'm sure we'll have some opportunities for cross-pollination, particularly where Flash/Flex/RIA development are concerned.
