I read on the Motorola site that there are three different menuing systems available? (MicrosoftTV, TV Guide, something from ...Pioneer?)

Any idea how these work or if they're usable with the Comcast system?

Yeah, I have the dual tuner one. It's great except that all of the RCA
inputs and the USB connections are disabled. There are some hacks to
allow you access to the 1394 connection though. I used to have the Dish
Network PVR, so the one thing the Comcast box was missing was the
30-second skip forward which is really nice to have. I finally found out
how to get that programmed onto the Comcast remote though. So now, the
only complaints I have about the box are related to not having network
connectivity. It's also not as easy to mod as Tivo, but you can manage
to do most of the things you need to get it working like you want and
with that 1394 hack you can manage to pull the programming off and burn
to DVD (I've actually not done this yet).

Anyone using that new Comcast DVR box? If so, what do you think?
