In excel can't you have it query a database and then populate the sheet with that data? can word do that? then could you do a mail merge to print the labels?
I think in classic asp you could create word docs populated from a database it used bookmarks? word has to be on the server. I haven't had a mountain dew yet so I may not know what I'm talking about.
