I've had that happen before - it usually seems to be a
problem with the server I am contacting - a slow response.. I can usually click
cancel a few times and get back to my main screen.
Try a different ftp server - otherwise you might have to
switch to the old routine - edit files in dreamweaver and then ftp upload with
something else...
A pain in the butt I know..

Has anyone had any
dreamweaver problems where it will say "waiting for the server"...if you get
this a couple of times your computer freezes up?????
I have uninstalled
dreamweaver...i even upgraded from mx to 2004....the server has all of the
current updates.....aaarrrgggg.
I have had to do a
hard reboot several times over the last week.....
if anyone has ANY
ideas...please help before i toss the computer out the
window!!!
