java.sql.SQLException error

"java.sql.SQLException: SQLException occured in JDBC Pool while attempting
to connect, please check your username, password, URL and other
connectivity information ..."

I can set up the datasource......it just won't verify, it generates the java pool error.  I have tried reinstalling JRUN and even tried the suggested SUN java engine......still I get the error.

I am running on Server2000,  Cold Fusion MX7, and the access database has no usernmae and password...so the log on is set to default.

it's a clean install on a new server
