Be part of a team using Cold Fusion, Flash, PL/SQL, and Oracle to develop
large environmental management system. Involves working
with a very large Oracle DB.
ColdFusion Developer with three or more years of experience in dynamic web
application development, ColdFusion MX, and Oracle DB
experience required. Experience with FuseBox 3, FuseDocs 2.0, the FLiP
methodology, HTML, developing XHTML compliant pages, and
TOAD desired.
Job Duties will include:
o Perform ColdFusion MX coding
o Insert and retrieve data from the database underlying the web site
using appropriate CF tags
o Write simple SQL or pass parameters to PL/SQL packages as needed
o Use Toad to become familiar with the structure and content of the
database tables
o Review the prototypes associated with an assigned coding task and
discuss with the task manager a logical approach to
the coding assignment
o Write ColdFusion MX code necessary to implement the prototypes
o Request input and support from the task manager on any areas of
uncertainty or where additional clarification is needed
o Provide frequent updates on coding status and any issues identified
o Follow coding standards
o Prepare Fusedocs
o Implement error trapping and validation as appropriate
