Adapts, integrates, codes, tests, debugs and documents applications for the entire organization. ·         Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities. ·         May act as a team leader on less complex projects.  ·         Provides guidance to and assists in training other analysts and programmers to effectively utilize the system’s technical software.   SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES   ·         Develops programming (applications and databases) to meet customer requirements ·         Gathers and documents user requirements participating with Senior Programmer / Analysts ·         Selects appropriate tools and techniques ·         Creates set up program to be used for implementation ·         Troubleshoots intermediate problems in existing software programming, escalating to Senior Programmer as needed ·         Adapts new or existing applications with other systems as required ·         Builds program modules to integrate various software systems as required ·         Codes intermediate applications ·         Tests and debugs performance issues for new and existing applications ·         Ensures standards are incorporated and maintained throughout the application programming, testing and documentation process ·         Provides ongoing customer application support for current applications and future modifications ·         Produces application documents ·         Ensures backups and recovery procedures are in place ·         Takes ownership of assigned accounts ·         Monitors application efficiencies to identify means of enhancing performance   ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS   Education/Knowledge: University or College Diploma in related field; Strong Flash/Flex, Cold Fusion, Oracle and SQL development experience.
