no to get into legal matters but one could inherit a project with no source code. >From the couple of swf decompilers i used it isn't easy to put them back together. Plus if they load other swfs into it or load text from xml or dynamically load images. maybe do screen shots and crop it for the photo's, retype for text. That's "free" and no learning curve.
