Has anybody filtered one drop down by selecting another drop down? I have a form that pull employee info form a db. In it I have two drop downs one for dept and one for title. People would like to filter titles based one dept. you so I can't say bob in development has a title of 'HR manager'
my title info has id, deptid, title deptid is related to the id from the dept_tbl. so when I select a dept i can filter the titles. My first thought was to re-call the cfc that gets the title data filtered by what I select. well then in searching for ideas I saw this http://tinyurl.com/bwdbp but it confuses me. If some one cam point me to a simple example or some quick dirty code I'll get it from there. Thanks.
