Find someone with a new digital 8 or mini-dv camcorder which has a video
input on it - some of the new canon's have it - and then record from a vcr
to the digital camcorder - then import to windows movie maker or such to
then put to a dvd.

Subject: OT: Digitizing VHS

Way off topic, I know...

Does anyone happen to have a method of transferring a VHS tape to a DVD, or
even just digitizing the VHS source? I know there's services to do such a
thing, but I'm not really willing to spend money n the process (it's not
that important, and it's just one tape).

Thanks in advance!
Jake
