Ryan, Kelly and I recently implemented online check transactions using Paymentech as a vendor. Paymentech makes a java SDK available, which we abstracted a bit more through a ColdFusion component. So far our experience with Paymentech has been very positive and we will be transferring our credit card payments to their service in the near future as well.
