I haven't tested it, but to me, it appears you could:
<cfscript>
imgObj = CreateObject("component", "cfc.tmt_img");
yourStructVar = imgObj.getDimensions("photo2.jpg");
</cfscript>
then
#yourStructVar["width"]# (or) #yourStructVar.width#
AND
#yourStructVar["height"]# (or) #yourStructVar.height#
