Two quick notes - both related to Katrina relief.
1. Check out www.blogfusion.com - for the next couple of weeks, anyone
who donates to the Katrina relief effort through my paypal donation
button will receive a free commercial license for BlogFusion. Donate
literally any amount of money you want - 1 penny gets you the code, but
hopefully you'll kick in more than that. 100% of the money donated will
be sent straight to the United Way.
2. Cook Children's Hospital here in the Metroplex has apparently been
chosen to receive patients from New Orleans. They have a series of
specific needs (see here:
http://www.smackmybooty.com/index.cfm?commentID=1293). My wife and I are
going to be doing some shopping this weekend to pick up some of these
items. If you'd like to use the paypal donation button above, we'll use
your donate money to further expand our own purchase. We'll shop,
deliver, and deal... you just have to donate. (I'll be happy to show
receipts to show it's legit, if you like)
