Hi all, Thanks to everybody that made it out to Freedom Funk last night, hope you enjoyed your night as much as the crew did! We put in lots of man hours (mmm... man hours) to make this thing happen, and it wasn't until we were breaking down and packing everything up that I realized how much work went into this event.
I'd like to hear reviews (good & bad) so send your thoughts. Some pros: The fireworks went off without a hitch, the DJs all played bangin' sets, Uberzone tore it up, people could drink if they wanted, pizza when you needed it at 3am, and the weather was lovely. Some cons: One of our firedancer's faces lit on fire (oops... I think he's okay, though), we had a skippy CD turntable in the front room, and some sound issues in the trance room. Otherwise things went fairly smoothly. Big thanks to everyone who helped out with this event! Nat, Vinny, Sherry for picking up DJs, Amy, Nicole, Arnie & co. for helping with set up, Chris for sticking around 'til the very end, everyone helping at the entrance/guest list.
