Actually, there are 2 different cases of mdma testing gone awry because of mislabeled contents. Apparently the company that supplied the substances mislabeled a batch. This is something I thought about as well, but was not sure if it was a cited example leading to the rave act. I dont like the rave act myself, but totally understand why E is illegal. Just because the studies were tainted, doesnt mean that people didnt die because of water intoxication or overdose. Im still for the criminalization of E, but the Rave act (version 2 tagged onto the amber alert bill) is rediculous and its foundations are definantly not top-notch.
