I thought we didn't know a lot about MDMA because it was listed as Category 1 controlled substance before any conclusive studies could be preformed.

Most of the studies I have read are based on short term results and are so specifically focused that no broad conclusions have ever been reached. There just isn't enough data.

honestly, i believe t hinking that ecstasy does not do any damage to your
body is like
sticking your head in the ground and pretending all is well.

it has been proven that it does dump the serotonin out in vast amounts
(otherwise, you
wouldn't feel good). it's also proven that it destroys any receptors that
allow reuptake or
production (i'll have the pull out the AJM article for that). to what
extent, no one knows,
since every person's neural biochemistry is variable. some people adapt
easier, some
peopl adapt harsher. i do have to say that those with a predisposition of
depression are
likely to suffer more after prolonged use.
