yes, i know that pete wilson put de-regulation in. shortly after davis wwent into office, report after report landed on his desk saying 'this is a bad idea, we think you should do something about it. danger, will robinson, danger.' the la times reported on this two years ago, interviewing one of the authors of the reports. he said he lobbied and continued to send reports to the governor saying 'de-regulation is going to mess things up on a grand scale.' did he do anything about it ? no. tell me, why did he wait until AFTER the blackouts happened before he started "investigating" what was going on ??? because everyone started BITCHING about it. bottom line: a bad governor has unhappy constituents. keep your constituents happy, and you won't have to deal with this recall business.
and, no, sol, i do not "want all the benefits of our society." i could do without having a big shitload of taxes taken out of my paycheck to pay for crackwhore mothers with 298549032845928 children's mouths to feed. let's get rid of some fuckin porkbarrel. btw, back in the early 80s, california was in a big budget hole as well. wilson nickle-and- dimed us out of it by putting extra taxes on candy bars, sodas, etc. perhaps we should try that again, seeing how our consumption of junk is so bountiful. ___________________________________________________________________ The D mailing list http://www.djdenise.com/ Check out the new forum! http://www.djdenise.com/forum/
