Okay, I may have worded my post wrong in saying that being a liberal state has relevance to our lack of education funds. I think perhaps it has to do with our "typical california attitude". Having come from a background of living in a few different places across the country(the east coast being one of them) I think I have a more objective than biased view of this. Typically, californians either create or follow fads with a vengance. Not so many years ago, doing everything for the children was the big thing. Nowadays, its all about how "davis screwed MY paycheck". I'm just on a rant, I'm gonna try and chill until I can figure out how to word this better.
