Actually there isn't such a thing as "pressing charges". The only one who gets to decide whether or not there will be prosocution is the DA. Most states have laws that mandate arrests in all domestic violence cases.

probably because he never brought up charges against her! i would think it's pretty rare for a man to report it to the police. (although, being the nerd that i am... i just looked up a statistic, and it said that 834,732 men are victims of domestic violence per year!) *www.batteredmen.com*
