> 6:30 p.m. The Nihonmachi Outreach Committee, the San Jose Japanese American Citizens League, the South Bay Islamic Association, the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim Community Association will sponsor a commemoration. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the San Jose Buddhist Church, 640 North First St. Participants will then proceed on a candlelight peace walk to the South Bay Islamic Association at 325 North Third St.
