Question one: Please describe your computer system
        Hardware type?

Pentium 2, 440BX motherboard

        Operating System? (try uname -a for most, or uname -X for SCO)

Linux meson 2.4.19 #4 Mon Dec 9 11:44:05 EST 2002 i686 unknown

        Your compiler (include version, if known)

exarkun:~$ gcc --version
2.95.3

        What scripts/script packs you run (phoenix, uus, superpack, etc)

Hienoa 0.49

        Anything else you think might be helpful.

Prior to the crash (several hours prior) this exchange occurred (as pulled
from the log file for the channel and with non-ASCII escaped):

[13:36] <exarkun> wertwert
[13:39] <saph> vroom
[13:46] <liiwi> gl\xf6g
[13:47] <exarkun> gl\xf5\x88g
[13:47] <exarkun> ack
[13:47] <exarkun> gl\xdc\x88g
[13:48] *** z3p|library is surprised those characters showed up
[13:48] <saph> \xb5\x97\xbe\xb5\x97\x90
[13:48] <exarkun> eep
[13:48] <exarkun> asdasdasd
[13:48] <exarkun> that was mean
[13:48] <saph> \x90_\x90;
[13:49] <saph> tee
[13:49] <exarkun> my terminal is totally thrashed now

Some of the non-ASCIIs display on my terminal correctly, others destroy
its or EPIC's ability to render that general area of the window.

Question two: Where does your problem occur?
        [ ] Configure time (dies while running configure)
        [ ] Compiler time (dies when you type 'make')
        [X] Run time (You got a "CRITICAL PROTECTION ERROR")
        [ ] Run time (You got a "PANIC" message)
        [ ]  Run time (non-fatal logic bug)

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
IRC-II has trapped a critical protection error.
This is probably due to a bug in the program.

<snip "Fill out BUG_FORM">

This version of IRC II is --->[EPIC4-1.0.1]
The date of release is --->[20010417]

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The program will now terminate.
Call stack
[  1] h.format.parse action _moshez #python squishes radix
[  0] (null)
== signoff #python by exarkun (Hmmm. EPIC4-1.0.1 has another bug. Go figure...)
== Time wasted: 3 days 6 hours 1 minute 57 seconds

  The crash occurred in a different channel than the previous, unprintable
text was displayed (dunno if the unprintable chars have anything to do with
the problem). No core file, unfortunately. Hope this is useful :)
