No. I think the impression comes from: 1. the chubby Acguy doesn't have the long limbs and inverse-triangle built of Z'gok. 2. in the 0079 anime Acguy is always behind Char's Z'gok, which makes them looks smaller in proportion. Haven't watch 08MST for a while but I think the Acguy there did tower over the Ground type Gundam. > > I guess I didn't mention often enough that official specs don't carry > much weight (ahem) with me, especially for 0079. IMHO Weight is not worth discussing in UC universe, as the show basically started on the premise of "an improved and lighter armor called Gundarium" in Operation V, and again with Gundarium Gramma for Zeta Gundam. (that's parallel to old Super Robot show like Mazinger Z and Getta Robo, which brings out new material or new power source in order to introduce our hero mecha). > > The specs for later shows were much more accurate since the specs and > linearts were created in a more coordinated manner. > > -- > Dr. Core > -------------------------------------------------- > The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] > > Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml > Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in > the BODY: help list > -- Boaz http://myturnaspace.blogspot.com -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
