No, when I responded to your post, Jason had already explained the
standard Gundam color scheme, so assuming he'd answered your question,
I didn't want to beat a dead horse. But I was still confused as to
what your point was.

So back to your post. Yes, most of the Hero Gundams were slightly
different from one another, but all retained that same general style.
Nouances such as where the red was (waist or cockpit hatch), what
color the shoulders were, and so on, aren't the same as the difference
between the Gundam Mk-II and Dom, for example. The Mk-II does look
rather sinister, perhaps cold, but the Dom's colors make it look like
a demon. The Mk-II and the Hizack are remarkably similar, yet the
Mk-II's sublte differences would make it really stand out in a crowd
of Hizacks.

Whereas with the Gundams, their differences in color scheme don't
really make one or the other stand out, or project a different aura.
The difference here is that changes in color can either provide
variety, or change the general feel of a thing (which also creates
variation). The difference from Gundam to Gundam provides variety, and
also in some instances compensates for the differences in the designs
themselves. Whereas in the examples you mentioned, the differences in
their color schemes create variations in their actual styles. This is
why the Gundams, though different, follow a general color scheme,
whereas your examples are all different.
