The Bandai Action Kits Asia Cup (BAKAC) is held in Hong Kong. Winners from the Philippine leg are usually sent off to have their Gundam kits and dioramas participate in the regional contest. Recent events, however, have forced us to reconsider. Why? BECAUSE PEOPLE FROM BAKAC DESTROY OUR KITS AND DIORAMAS.
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b294/makkross/piaw.jpg This was an entry for BAKAC 2005. What happened? Jeezus. that can't be bad packing alone. it looks like someone was angry with that kit. Want more proof? http://www32.brinkster.com/msvenue/msgboard/ViewTopic.asp?topic_id=28 This happened in Bakac 2004. From the pattern of damage, someone tried to transform what was essentially a kit that was rendered as fixed-pose. As Fichtenfoo can attest, there is also an incredible tale of woe from the winners, too. And before anyone says that it could be shipping and handling in transit, here's something to think about: one of the Philippine entries came back with a heart shape scratched into the sensor eye. I'm not kidding. We have no idea if it's ignorance on part of people hired by Bakac of how valuable our pieces are, or if there is, dare we say it, actual malice involved. It's very disheartening. -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
