I had problems with my Dengeki hobby subscription so I'm missing the likely issues for the Acguy, sept. and oct of 2005. Sadly, they likely did nothing to celebrate the kit as Dengeki is so busy with that Titans test thing and all the Seed astray spinoffs, not to mention the revival of Zeta means they have to remake those kits again. I'm rather disappointed in Dengeki. They used to do these awesome photo spreads of new kits, showing all the parts and how they fit together and such.

It looks like the dec. Model Graphix did a build of the Acguy. Check out this pic. http://www.hlj.com/product/MDGMAG0512

But yeah, no cover. What's up with that? I noticed that the Acguy even beat the RX-78 in the recent Gundam Ace poll (if I remember correctly)

BTW, do you see my post to GML about the MG Acguy from 12/31?

I saw, but had naught to contribute, and so deferred to others. There
must be at least one list member who subscribe to one or all the hobby
mags, RIGHT?

I posted a long while ago hoping (out loud) that Acguy would get
persistent exposure on the mags (plus my selfish hope for a HGUC
Acguy). But it seems it didn't even get on the cover once. Clicking
on HLJ and S-coolboy didn't show any mods. S-coolboy's scans only
cover the new products anyway. Doesn't mean no one did any Acguy mods
on the mags. But not making the covers on either mag is
disappointing.

Ahh... look

not what you asked for, but weakly promising.
