If we were ever booted off of Ben's hardware with warning it would be no 
problem to resurrect the list on one of my work servers. Hopefully we'd be 
able to get the gundam.com domain pointed over, as well as getting the 
membership list...

But as you say, if the lights went out without warning there would be 
little recourse. It's not like we can even parse the mailing list archives 
to get the active posters, as the mail-archive.org site strips out email 
addresses.

Something to potentially be worried about, for sure.

In once sense I don't think this will end up being a problem.  I mean how
long did the old GML go on even though the original creator/founder was no
longer paying any attention (or at least was not active ) to the list.

I think we should start a post that all of us add our name and e-mail
addresses to in case this event ever comes to pass.  I will add my name to
start the post.  Add your name to the list and then keep a copy of the final
tally.  Then we can get a hold of each other in the event of a catastrophe
to reform.
