Well supposingly it's a Ming vase, 0079 had exactly 2 dialogue lines
(more precisely 2 sentence fragments) on it.  But it's kind of come to
embody the Ma Qube persona in last few years.  Can't exactly name more
examples, but perhaps in games and other merchandise, I saw Ma Qube
fondling that silly vase too many times recently.  Perhaps it's
supposed to evoke a sense of refinement on his part.  After Garma, Ma
Qube has probably the most "royalty" air around him; (both had also
the same aversion to melee MS combat until the Gyan episode changed
his personality around).  I always had a pet theory that Tomino
originally considered him as a royal pretender instead of a "I'll take
you down or die trying" tragic villain.  Let Char finishes off the
Zabi's but Ma Qube steals the throne, that'd make Char mad won't it.
Perhaps even have Ma Qube take the regent role that ended up under
Haman Kahn's name.

Anyway, it just look ugly, expecially in the MG kit's implementation.
Doesn't look like any of the Ming vases I've seen.  Not that I'm any
kind of expert.

Would be funny if someone call me to him before his Gyan blew: "hmm, sir, bad news... your Ming vase is actually a poor replicate which doesn't look Ming at all... what, sir, you don't care now? I mean, I've seen you fondling that vase so many times sir *explosion from distance*".
