Me? Just the animation and designs. I would prefer the look of
Gundam:0080. That series had, for me, the right combination of
realistic human animation, beautiful space contruct designs (colonies,
space ships) and the mecha were beautiful! If not that look then 08th
MS Team would be a good second choice. The story should remain
untouched. *Unless* there might be an opportunity to better integrate
the non-Tomino side stories since so many have complained about
inconsistencies or plot problems because of minor history changes. But
that wouldn't be necessary to do. I wouldn't mind if they included a
few new second-tier (non-Gundam, non-GM) mobile suits, as well. But
scene for scene there shouldn't be any real deviations. Use the
Original as storyboards for the new version.
