I was reading about PS3 and it's essentially an mini PC. It seems the
line between PC and console [aka video game] is getting quite blurred.A
few sites predict the PS3 will be $500!

Wow, this does look interesting. A first-person-shooter Gundam game.
Check out the scale in these screen shots.
Isn't there a certain adaptage that FPS work well on PC but not consoles?
(amazingly the screen shots leak thru the company firewall yay :)
Xbox 360... ehh... I am not a huge Sony fan, but I agree with Sony
that MS jumped the gun on 360, it's just 1st gen Xbox with HD output
isn't it? Xbox 360 can not play HD-DVD right? Could there be a
firmware upgrade that enables it in the future? Of course by the time
PS3 comes out, Blu-ray may be dead...
Gundam Ground Type, classic Zakus, looks good. Says a lot how the
game will feel already.
The cockpit looks cool, but the panel looks non-functional? Is the
mecha mission going to feel like FPS or fighter/tank/mech driving? I
have a baaad feeling about this!
The infantry scene looks a bit too much like WW2 games for my liking.
The WW2-like scene looks like a fast and furious... and chaotic kind
of game. But Gundam games should be more paced and intellectual.
08MST talks a lot about tactical planning (with execution of course)
and there's much more a hide-and-seek (mainly with sonar and some IR)
feel than run-and-gun.
I think any mechasim that satisfy me has to be first person (R.A.D. is
in a sense first person too ;) and it's fun to play).
