I met with the owner/sculptor Elvis
Lee (yeah, Elvis) back in 2001, and for a guy doing this part time, he is pretty
amazing, as in amazing that he can find the time. He is very talented,
being able to sculpt and produce these kits at that level of details. He
'retouched' a 1/35 KOG that was released by Wave a long time ago and the added
details is just jaw dropping. However, I am not always crazy about his
designs (redesigns). What he did with the 1/100 Xeku-Zwei
RMS-142's feet just drove me nuts... Then again, could just be my personal
taste (preference).
Anyhow, I am looking forward to see
the completed kit. It's nice to drool over the keyboard knowing diapers
have taken over your plastic crack spending...
