A little bit of searching led me to this good looking site. Other
than some modelling supplies, they seem to be exclusively Bandai
plamo, with a great stock of kits. $10 flat shipping can't be beat
either. They must be affiliated with Bandai. Maybe they are the
"official" importer of Gunpla in N.America seeing as how you can type
in your zip code to find a store that carries kits near you.
Regardless, I think I might have found my alternative to HLJ for
Gunpra. I'm going give them a try and place an order.
BTW, they have a bunch of HGUC with DVDs. Has anyone gotten a look at
them? I'm assuming they are Japanese only Region 2 DVDs.
I've been looking through my old bookmarks. Most of the stores are
dead, but I did find a really cheap EX Argama ($16.03) here.

I think I ordered something from these guys 5 years ago.
For gashapons, this seller is great
http://stores.ebay.com/id=13852003 She's actually currently helping
me to track down two SEED ones I've been after for a while. Very
friendly and the items are all reasonably priced.
On the subject, if anyone knows where I could score a BB 197 Musha
Deathscythe I'd be in your debt.
She doesn't look too bad. I like how she sells individual trading figs too.

Subject: [gundam] online stores for Gundam stuff
Date: Wed, 14 Feb 2007 09:19:31 -0700
Post your favorite online stores to buy Gundam stuff.
I usually go with HLJ for most of my purchases. I sometimes go
with Amazon.co.jp for books. Its a pain to navigate the site
though. I've also bought some stuff from ebay, usually trading figs
and gashapon. All the sellers seem to be from Hong Kong. I haven't
had a problem with them though. Ebay is particularly good as they
usually sell complete sets of trading figures unlike HLJ where you
buy a box of random figs. I got all my Overman King Gainer figs
through ebay.
I'm always looking for other options though.
I found this site, http://plajapan.com/ . It doesn't look too bad,
at least for the items in stock. The prices for HGUC kits seem
quite good. Its based in California so those of us in N.America
won't be hit with overseas shipping either.
