The mono eye goes across the middle top of it's head in the anime? It's
been a relatively long time since I've seen OYW era Gundam.

They appear to be going for the 08th MS Team version. The legs in
particular are more rounded than the regular version.
Hats off to them for continuing to offer the non-A-list, non-Gundam
designs for the fans. I just yesterday on eBay bought another Macross
Valkyrie and that new Armor Parts set so that I can have two (one in
gerwalk mode with the Strike Parts on it and the other in battroid mode
with the Armor Parts on it) and, again, I'm pissed off at being reminded
that Yamato and every other toy faction making those toys won't make the
Destroids or the Pods to go along with them. I was never really a big
fan of the ACGuy mech but it has definitely grown on me. Wouldn't have
if there was no promotion for it, though.
