Very quiet, eh? So I finally surf over to the Gundam Musou website
for a look-see. So it's a UC, G, W and Turn-A cross-over. But why
not Seed? Very curious.
I guess it's best approach to do Gundam Musou, if it's a cross-over,
there's no need to worry about canon. Still it's a little painful to
see 100 Doms get tossed in the air. It reminds me of my daughter
throwing her box of miscellaneous toys in the air.
This being only the third (?) nextgen Gundam game, it's perhaps too
early to generalize. But look
Crossfire: the launch title that everyone wants to forget...
Musou: a demo of the super duper multi-cell graphics processor
disguising as a game
Mobile Ops: look & feel like an WW2 FPS
Scad Hammer: only slightly more sophisticated than Wii Sport.
Seems like each and every nextgen Gundam game is playing out the
script according to the traditional / hyped-up strength or gimmicks of
each platform. Xbox = shooter, PS3 = graphics, Wii = flailing around.
Hopefully in a years time, we can see games being developed beyond
the gimmicks stereotypical to that platform.
