Technical it's not even a HG line (as was the case with the 1/100 HG
Wing product line). It's just "1/100 Seed/Seed Destiny" line(s). The
Ataksuki Full Set is No. 15 of that line, after No. 14 Saber Gundam.
I doubt that the HG vs. MG would make a measurable difference to the
pricing. The Full Set comes with a LOT of gimmicks, most of them are
plated as well as the MS body. So I'm guess it's priced using the
same formula as any other plated regular gunpla kits.
Compare with Strike Freedom Gundam:
1/144: 500
HG 1/144: 1600
1/100: 2600
MG 1/100: 4800
MG finish: 8000 (Extra Finish)
MG burst: 7000 (Full Burst)
So 1/100 is 62.5% more than the HG, MG is 200% more than the HG; extra
gimmicks (Full Burst) is 46% more than the normal mode.
Compared with Atasuki:
HG 1/144: 2400 (either Owashi or Shiranui)
1/100 full: 6500 (both Owashi and Shiranui, right?)
If you multiply the 1/100 factor with the extra gimmick factor you get
2400*1.625*1.458 = ~5700 Yens. So I think 6500 Yens pricing is pretty
reasonable!
