My thought was "SEED Destiny sequel delayed indefinitely" followed by a description of Kunio Okawara's commitment to a psychiatric hospital for observation while rambling uncontrollably about "giant backpacks" or some such...

I know it's derivative from the sketch/comic at Gunota (and, heck, I LIKE most of the designs from SEED), but still...

While that is true, it doesn't change the fact that a faux article claiming that MG kit #100 would be a super deformed RX-78-2 (which I now wish I'd thought of 48 hours earlier) would go over a lot better than the Tomino one.  My first thought on seeing the "Tomino Dies" e-mail title was, "Again?"

Well, at any rate... this joke may be old and death is no laughing matter.

The fact is, however, that it is April Fools' day. We're bound to deal with

foolishness at some point. In fact, I posted all over MySpace about how I

had died (posing as my girlfriend) and it went over pretty well after the joke

was revealed.

I did have one friend who totally flipped out on me. Some people just can't

take a joke, I suppose...

Either way, we're all going to have to deal with fools at one point or

another...
