I haven't been following SD kits for years, but this isn't the first
time SD, or even regular, kits got released out of numerical order.
Jumping 4 consecutive numbers is probably the first time... In the
past, out of order releases had no apparent reason. Most likely
unforeseen delay in one of the design/manufacture steps just hold back
a particular kit for a month or so and they didn't renumber them.
Actually come to think of it, the very original 1/144 line had some
huge (like 10) gaps in the numbering, I never heard of it discussed or
explained.
