Thanks, this has a bunch of new info too! Love the "diorama" of the
swearing of the brotherhood oath (in a peach garden according to
legend). The pic in the middle showing some boring looking seminar is
something about "oversea" promotion looks like a kind of Web seminar
in both Chinese and English (strangely "English Edition" (just above
"OPEN") was written in kanji). There seems to be some emphasis on
model engineering, don't know if it's just hype or there's some real
evolution from previous SD models. Finally, the historical names of
the kingdoms (Wei, Shu and Wu) have been mapped to new fictional
names. These names might be completely made up, but the new name for
Wu hints at a firepower emphasis and the new name for Shu hints at a
flight emphasis. Not sure if I've read too much into it.

not rational for them to try for a full series. Speaking of the push- why
ignore the UK, Bandai?
Indeed it's very strange. CA and AU had never been mentioned in
Bandai company line before, but EU had. So why now CA and AU are
suddenly feeling some Bandai-love? A possibility is the very sizable
Chinese immigrant populations in those countries.
they believe English speaking countries love Wing, so maybe this is to help
it's chances? Add in his opponent is a Tallgeese.
I suspect Bandai is taking a new approach. If SDGF and Savior were
past attempts at Westernizing Gundam, then perhaps they figure that a
better approach might be Sinolizing Gundam, and target the mainland
China market (HK and TW were already conquered, but UC/AU Gundam seems
not to have taken a foothold in mainland) and also service the
domestic Japanese market and the immigrant markets in the West.
There's a longer preview of the Comic World story here-
http://komica6.dreamhosters.com/09/index.php?res=47323 The Bom Bom version
showed a tiny preview too, which has Ryubi fighting Tallgeese and trying to
force him back.
GREAT! This one is in simplified Chinese, so a mainland promotion
push is definite (unless it's a Singapore mag?).
This Tallgeese is identified as Lu Bu, one of the greatest warriors in
Sango, but foolishly carried out the heavy lifting for Dong Zhuo. BTW
Dong Zhuo's story arc was a prelude to the establishment of Three
Kingdoms.

game, it wouldn't be at all out of character for them to release Dynasty

A Romance of the Three Kingdoms-style Musha Gundam strategy game, perhaps?
Very logical, except it won't be Musha (Sengoku) but Sangoku. It's
probably going to be BB Senshi Sangokuden Musou Warrior (for the hack
& slash) and SD Gundam G Generation Sangokuden (for the strategy).
There could even be a Battle Assault game in the mix.
