As logic goes, I actually though SEED was pretty cool, at least when
it came to core issues. The use of Gundams to resolve those issues
was of course cartoonish and silly (the whole story would have played
out very nicely without any Gundams, or indeed, any mobile suits
whatsoever), but the idea of advanced human being, of prejudice
surrounding them, and of conflicts arising from said prejudice was
both internally consistent and very timely.
It could have been better, yes, but I think SEED's basic themes are
as solid as those of any Gundam series, and better than most.
