You know, that guy who, right after the Israelis "downsized" a good chunk of his organization in Southern Lebanon, decided to try to collapse the Lebanese government by ordering the Hezbollah cabinet members to resign?
:P
(yes, I'm sure you know who he is; but I find his gall somewhat amusing)
Speaking of totalitarians and unintentional hilarity...
I'm sure I'm not the only one here who read about the young newspaper clerk in China who printed an ad that someone paid for that was to honor, "The mothers of those who died on 6/4." For those of you not up on your dates, 6/4 was the date of the Tienanmen (sp?) Square massacre. But China has ruthlessly squelched any and all stories about the event within their own borders, and the clerk was too young at the time to know what the date referred to (she was told it was a mining accident). The Chinese censorship has been so completely and utterly effective that even some of the censors apparently don't know about it.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
