Well supposingly FMA's director was uninformed of previous Gundam series, so cloning Wing is hopefully coincidental. BTW, HRA (I guess HRL has been discarded) is clearly led by the Chinese. Union is obviously led by Anglo-Americans. I haven't detected any cultural/architectural reference to point me to the race of AEU leadership. But relatively safe to bet on the Germans. One of the CB character is also Chinese.
